backyard residential applications - Homeowner will install and remove cloth as

D rings on every corner. ( it still works pretty good and the price is perfect)

Is the sails waterproof.
No. If installed correctly , then the
sail will have a 88% water-runoff. The cloth is permeable and is designed
for shade and to release hot air which can be trapped under the sail.
The pyramid / gable type shade structures can use the waterproof type cloth.
